Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Quietly considered one of New York City's most promising independent acts, The Kin s sound is a dynamic exchange between Australian brothers Isaac and Thorry Koren. These multi-talented musicians not only write their own material, they also play multiple instruments, creating a rare and audibly stunning experience.

5 out of 5 stars You need this.   July 14, 2010

Both Rise and Fall and The UPside are amazing. I'm addicted, and have been listening to nothing else since I learned of these brothers.

5 out of 5 stars Caught in a New Day   June 9, 2010

The Kin is a band only worthy of 5 stars. They break the mold in popular music. This album is accessible while still feeling completely original. Abraham is my favorite track. Their 2nd album, The Upside, is equally brilliant.

5 out of 5 stars Perfection   March 3, 2010

True brilliance. Mellow without being sleepy and obnoxious. Lyrics and music that pull me in and make me feel a hundred different emotions. The Kin have a sound that is completely their own. This is a CD I never tire of.

These boys are beautiful to listen too individually but even better together. Interesting rythmns and great acoustic guitar, real talent.
