AVOID THIS ENTIRELY!!!!! November 4, 2007 Renfield (Edmonton, Canada) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Why do even INSIST looking here? Trust me, you don't even wanna consider buying this for a second! Columbia records thought they could remix and remaster a whole live EP, and failed miserably. They were going for a "Quality Bootleg" kind of vibe, but instead ended up recording mostly the audience with some-sort of semi-musical noise in the background.
Not only that, but to make it even worse (if that's possible), Claudio's voice is absolutely shot, his faltering yells of "ANSWER ME!!!!!" on "Everything Evil" are cringe-worthy. And Travis' blasepheming of the guitar work on "Time Consumer" is absolutely untolerable. This live EP just stinks, it's a shame to hear them playing so sloppily here. It would have been nice to actually be able to hear "The Crowing", but unfourtanately it's just a bunch of noise.
10 min of self-indulgent prog wankering!! August 24, 2007 Daeghrefn (Seattle, WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just picked this disc for cheap and am very happy. What a phenonenal band. The recording is a little muddy and not up to the quality of the "Starland Ballroom" or "Last Supper" live discs, but that is to be expected from a small show like this. The energy of the band is apparent and the audience is totally into the show.
Its worth the price just for the closing extended version of "Everything Evil" with the talkbox solo and Claudio's comment "This is what the British call '10 minutes of self-indulgent prog wankering. We are wankers!'"
Excellent live and FREE show October 25, 2006 Zane Crawford Ullman (Houston, TX United States) I just noticed that the commenter below me is my friend that attended the show with me. Coheed blew everyone away by playing a free show that afternoon before the regular show that you had to pay to get into. Wish I had the official copy of the album, it was one of their best shows that I've seen.
